Certifications
All Riccardo Marzi products are certified by the company itself by incorporating the brand mark into the pieces during the production process. The mark is visible beneath each piece.

All production is carried out by hand in Italy, in the province of Florence, in Montespertoli. The flowers and all natural elements are sourced from Tuscany.
Real flowers, leaves, fruit, and other natural elements
The compositions in the works of Riccardo Marzi and sons usually consist of real flowers, fruit, leaves, and other natural elements that are dried before being placed inside the resin.
Artisanal production process
Production follows artisanal rhythms and processes. Every stage is personally carried out by the Marzi family and their collaborators. Since the process is manual and involves natural elements, it can never produce items that are completely identical, even when the patterns and types of shapes are the same.
Variability of the pieces and final appearance
Some minor imperfections may occur as a result of unpredictable factors. However, we ensure that the overall appearance is not compromised.
Italian handmade design
The work of Riccardo Marzi and sons began in the 1980s. Since then, the company has maintained its family-run character. The product designs are created by the Marzi family, and every stage of production is carried out by hand.

Food safety
Food use
The products are designed to be functional. The final stage of production involves a gel coating certified for food use, which also gives them a glossy, glass-like finish.
They are therefore suitable for contact with food up to 75°C and with acidic dressings such as vinegar and lemon.
Care and use of decorative resin plates
Combined use of cutlery and blades
Spoons, forks, and butter knives can be used without any problems. The use of sharp blades is not recommended.
Using as a catchall tray
The resin is not scratched by blunt metal objects such as keys and coins. It is smooth to the touch and resistant to dragging.
Using candle holders
The Tea Light flame does not damage the resin or the colors. The melted wax prevents the wick from burning down to the base.
To remove wax, we recommend cooling the object (e.g., in the refrigerator) and using vegetable oil to remove any residue.
How to clean and care for decorative resin plates
Cleaning
Hand-washable with common detergents. Avoid abrasive sponges and frequent dishwasher washing. If necessary, use low temperatures.
Cleaning in case of wax spills
Cool the object to harden the wax, then remove it gently. Vegetable oil helps remove any residue.

Material characteristics
The artistic resin used is more transparent than epoxy resin and does not become cloudy or change color over time. The formula is patented and secret.
The natural elements are dried and embedded in the resin, which replaces the air and preserves their color.
Impact resistance
A sturdy material that withstands normal stress. Round, lightweight shapes are more resistant to drops. They are not indestructible, but they are difficult to break with everyday use.
Color retention
Avoid temperatures above 75°C. The flowers do not oxidize because they are protected from air and water. The color remains stable over time.
Heat resistance
Heat can affect the color. Exposure to sunlight is not a problem, but frequent washing in the dishwasher is not recommended. Contact with hot foods is acceptable.
